HomeWattly ("we," "our," or "us") is a free electricity cost calculator website. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our website. HomeWattly is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

Our electricity cost calculator runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you enter information into the calculator (appliance wattage, usage hours, electricity rate):

• This data is not stored by us
• This data is not shared with third parties
• All calculations happen locally in your browser
• Data is held only in your browser's memory while you use the calculator and is cleared when you close the page or browser

Website Usage Data

We do not collect analytics, tracking, or usage data of any kind. The website itself does not use cookies or browser local storage.

Contact Emails

If you contact us at contact@homewattly.com, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this information only to respond to you, and we do not share it with third parties.

Hosting

HomeWattly is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As our hosting provider, Cloudflare delivers the website's files to your browser and may process request data (such as IP addresses) in accordance with Cloudflare's own terms of service and privacy notice, which you can read at Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not control Cloudflare's data processing.

Cookies

HomeWattly does not currently use cookies or browser local storage.

Advertising

Currently active: HomeWattly does not display any advertisements.

Future (not yet activated): We plan to apply to Google AdSense. If advertising is activated, Google may use cookies (including the DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page (aboutads.info/choices). When AdSense is activated, we will update this policy with the specific advertising partners, and, where required (for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area or the UK), we will obtain consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before loading advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

HomeWattly currently uses one third-party service: Cloudflare Pages (hosting, described above). No analytics, widgets, plugins, or embedded services are integrated. If third-party services are ever added, this policy will be updated to describe their data handling practices.

Data Security

Because we do not collect or store personal information, there is minimal data security risk. The website is served over HTTPS via Cloudflare.

Your Rights

Since we do not currently collect personal data, these rights have limited practical effect. If you have contacted us, you can ask us to delete the email address and message you sent.
